Merging the old with the new during the digital era

In the digital projects of Scheijndel and Scheijndel I give the paintings, made by the artist and my uncle Willem van Scheijndel (1952 – 2017 †), a new digital life. In several series I adapt his paintings with a new conceptual spin-off into digital works of art. Often inspired by journeys from the past, but with the subjects of today.

In this way I bring the old and the new together, in keeping with the current zeitgeist. On this page I announce new projects and series. Indeed a Van Scheijndel. You probably noticed that. My name is Maarten van Scheijndel. A forty year old Digital Creative, living in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Beside my work as a Creative hanging around with the kids, busy with sports and yes… digital creations like above. I hope you like them!
